Focus: With persistent drive to achieve success, my goal is to help you live healthier lifestyle, no matter your fitness level.

Personal Bio: As a native of the Lewis-Clark Valley, I grew up playing softball, basketball, golf, and running x-country. I played all but softball in high school and received a golf scholarship to Lewis-Clark State College. I decided I wanted to better myself, so 4 years ago I started my fitness journey. Since that time I have competed in three NPC bikini/figure competitions throughout the Northwest. Going through the training program, I knew this was a lifestyle I would enjoy and want to be continue, not only for myself but to help others achieve their fitness goals.

Fitness is not about being better than someone else. It’s about being better than you used to be.

Kelli Taylor, ISSA CPT

  • Credentials: ISSA CPT
  • Areas of Expertise: weight loss, strength training, postural correction, and injury prevention/recovery.

Hello, my name is Kelli Taylor. I am a certified personal trainer through the International Sports Science Association (ISSA). I have been training clients for the past four years. However, my journey into the fitness world started with my passion for sports having previously been a three-sport athlete (basketball, soccer and softball). I began weight training when I was sixteen years old working with a trainer in the Seattle area.  After graduating from Washington State University, I decided to take my love for training and turn it into a career where I can help people become the best versions of themselves! I am new to the valley and excited to train here at Smart Fitness. Previously, I trained clients at a gym in Chelan, Washington before owning my own training studio. I love working with people to achieve their personal fitness goals whether that being losing weight, building muscle, postural correction, injury prevention/recovery, etc. I am here to be your coach and to help you succeed. Let’s start your fitness journey today!

Jake Genthôs, M.S., C.S.C.S.

  • Credentials: Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist
  • Education: M.S. in Biotechnology

As a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, my role as your trainer and coach is to facilitate systematic changes that you can both maintain and improve upon independently. I will make you the author of your own performance by teaching you the principals behind what we do in training. Those principles come from my background in the sciences (M.S. in Biotechnology) and 15+ years of experience in the fitness industry as a competitive body builder and coach. I use an evidence-based approach that integrates multiple aspects of performance and health to build an individualized, goal-oriented program with you – we can incorporate strategies that target nutrition, mobility, strength, mindfulness, power production, aerobic conditioning, or specifics of your sport. We will work together to instill lasting changes and infuse your actions with intention, so you can #beyourownguru.

Connor Imel, NASM CPT

As a personal trainer, I believe in being passionate. If you don’t love what you do, you won’t do it with much conviction or passion. Believe me, I’ve chosen the right path.

Overall, my mission is to help you pursue a better quality of life. Through posture control by strengthening your trunk/core, corrective exercises to combat any muscular imbalances and teaching your body to limit compensation so you can move in a more efficient matter are all ways my programming will aid you in achieving this goal.

My type of training consists of starting with the foundation of proper stabilization and mobilization of the joints and proper core strength. With that solid base, we can build strength and conditioning in a integrated, progressive design.

My clientele is a wide spectrum that pertains to any demographic. From athletes looking to get more explosive and build strength to moms/dads who want to get more functional and into better cardiovascular shape.

Come and join me! Together, we can start the foundation to a better YOU.
